Our chaplains in the field

Cameroon
From our chaplaincy training base at Mile 3, Limbe, COHEB chaplains are trained and deployed across Cameroon — serving refugees, internally displaced and host communities, leading trauma healing and counselling, and supporting peace and reconciliation efforts alongside local authorities and partners.

Chad
In Chad, our chaplains walk with refugee and returnee communities in the east and south — offering spiritual and emotional accompaniment, counselling families who have fled crisis, mediating between displaced and host communities, and helping rebuild dignity, trust and hope after displacement.

Central African Republic
In the Central African Republic, chaplains serve communities recovering from crisis in the Ouham-Pendé and Basse-Kotto prefectures — accompanying children formerly associated with armed groups and displaced families, fostering dialogue and peaceful coexistence, and strengthening community resilience.
Training Curriculum
Why this matters
This intense, accelerated training equips learners with the tools and skills to carry out their missions, while continuing in specialization across the training curriculum above. Our chaplaincy training is based at Mile 3, Limbe, Cameroon.
